Today I had to go back to the 403 and see if the update actually fixed that mouse. My G703: I updated the firmware and it stopped scrolling the opposite direction for maybe a 3-4 days, it never really fully stopped malfunctioning but it decreased a substantial amount to the point the mouse was usable. I've been dealing with issues with my G403 for a year, your CSR's sent me a 703 in replacement and it's worse, considerably. The fast scrolling behaviour will be harder to spot, as you´ll need a really "long" webpage or document to test it. After you reached the end of the page keep scrolling down with single "clicks" and you´ll see the jumps happen. Search for what ever you want and scroll to the bottom of the page. The slow scrolling behavior can easily be tested with Google search results. If you are scrolling faster, for example 180° it won´t happen as frequent. This happens with both scrolling directions. If you are scrolling slow (1-2 "clicks") the jumping while happen more often.
